Baby Dedication

Here at Harvest Church of God, a baby dedication is a special ceremony in which parents bring their young child before the congregation to publicly commit to raising their child in the ways of God. During the dedication service, parents pledge to be faithful in teaching their child about God's love and ways, and to set an example of Christian living for them to follow. The congregation also participates in the ceremony by praying for the child and their family, and promising to support and encourage them in their journey of faith. Baby dedications are seen as a joyful celebration of new life and a powerful opportunity to lay a foundation of faith for the child's future.
